ARTIST: PRSMS
SONG: “KRIMENOVESL” (PRSMS)

MUSIC VIDEO CONCEPT AND TREATMENT
DIRECTOR: ALEX FRANTZ GHASSAN

TECHNICAL CONCEPT:

This video will be a performance based video shot utilizing primarily slow motion (60 fps). The choice to use a slower frame rate is to accentuate the actions occurring in the video. The slower motion will give the viewer a more relaxed feel, rather than the actual fast paced feel of the song.
The video will be a mix of dolly and hand held camera movements, with high angle shots thru the use of a jib arm. The location will be an interior white studio with a cyclorama wall. Which gives off the appearance of unlimited space.

TREATMENT:

“Krimenovesl” performed by Prsms, is a high-energy aggressive punk rock song. The polar opposite of this genre of music is dirty south hip-hop. The idea is a mix of the two. This style of video takes the viewer out of the typical element that a punk rock video might consist of.

• This video features your more stereotypically sexy video vixen. Scantily clad girls will give the look & feel of a risqué hip-hop video.

A group of 8 to 10 girl’s wearing spandex thong leotards will walk onto the cyclorama wall. The performance area will be partially illuminated in the background leaving pools of darkness in the foreground. This will create a silhouette while the girls get into position, and begin to stretch provocatively.
While stretching the band will enter in the background and begin tuning their instruments. Once the band and girls are done warming up together, the lights will slowly be raised.
The music will also start as soon as the lights are completely up, and the girls will begin to dirty dance for the camera. Gratuitous butt, pelvic, and chest movements will give the overtly sexual feel of a stereotypical booty shaking hip-hop video.
The bands moves will exhibit a more punk rock nature, but will match the intensity level of the girls making their movements cohesive. Both band and girls will complete their performance and the lights will fade to black as they walk off.

• These visuals along side the sound and feel of the bands music will add depth to what would be a generic and unimaginative hip-hop video. Allowing the song to also take on a life of its own beyond the lyrics and the bands persona.
